After extensive research and testing,we've found that the legacy backup feature of cPanel creates certain problems,to list a few:

  1. Creates unnecessary load when backup runs.
  2. Uses disk space of customer if they store backups in the cpanel account.
  3. Management of two backup systems.

Launch of Jetbackup Snapshots is now active on a few servers.

This ensures backups are created faster for customers and are stored on our dedicated backup server cluster.
