Today we have amazing news.
We have opened a new Branch for Hostking in the UAE, in Sharjah.
This has now become our primary branch for our business.
However this does not affect our services or servers in anyway.
- Our servers are still in South Africa
- Customers can still pay us per normal as we will still keep our South African bank account / Payment Gateways.
This opens new opportunities for our business and staff members.
We have been trying to accomplish this for over a year and have been planning it for quite some time.
The first change is we launched a new website for the UAE called www.hostking.ae - same look and feel just targeting the UAE in their currency.
We also have implemented a new gateway called Stripe which is probably the largest in the world and ties very well into our billing system.
We have had some issues with Flutterwave and 2Checkout and hence have been looking for an alternative to make it easier for customers to pay across the globe.
Stripe was our only option as it ticked all the boxes and hence we have removed the following gateways going forward:
- Flutterwave
- 2Checkout
- Netcash
- Paypal
We are excited for this new venture and do hope it helps our business grow.
