Fighting Spam and Mass Mailing on our Servers

In order to keep our servers off Blacklists we have put some limits in place with effect immediately.

This is to combat customers that are doing mass mailing affecting performance of our servers or spam. This is against our Terms of Service.

Directadmin Servers:

Messages Per Account = 1000/day

Emails per Email account: 200 (Default - Can be adjusted within Email settings)

Failures (Non delivery errors) - 10 per hour

Recipients per email = 100

cPanel Servers:

Max emails: 250 per hour

Plesk Windows Servers:

Max Emails: 100 per hour

Note: We found many customers

Sending out emails to email addresses that have NOT opted into their emails. (SPAM)
Sending out emails to Thousands of email addresses at a time (Mass mailing)
Sending out to email addresses that bounce back to our servers with non delivery errors and not updating their email lists.

The above causes at times our servers to be on blacklists.

Kindly note this is also against POPI and CAN-SPAM Acts, hence our abuse team will suspend if found.
